
YORKTOWN — Yorktown Market Days’ annual Fun in the Sun Market runs 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 11, at Riverwalk Landing, with local vendors, live entertainment and family activities.
Vendors will sell fresh meats, produce, spices, barbecue sauce, baked goods, artwork and jewelry. Children can enjoy lawn games, bubbles, temporary tattoos and crafts all morning.
The Norfolk-based One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band plays the Riverwalk Landing Stage from 9 a.m. to noon. The Fifes & Drums of York Town perform at 10 a.m.
Food vendors include Boyd’s Tasty Dogs, Coastal Thirst, Corvo Coffee, Dough Haus, Kathi’s Clam Chowder & Lobster Rolls, Pop’s Kettle Corn and Vee’s Italian Bakery.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, the York-Poquoson Courthouse, the County Administration Building and other designated lots.
The free, ADA-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; track it via the ETA SPOT app.
The market, sponsored by York County, runs rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, it moves to the lower level of the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace.
