WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Farmers Market will open the 2026 season Saturday, Feb. 7.
In the past, the market closed in January, February, and part of March, holding a special market in February. For 2026, the season will run from February through December, and that means more markets, more opportunities to shop local, and more fresh food brought directly to Williamsburg Farmer Market customers, the city said.
According to the city, the Williamsburg Farmers Market features an average of 40 vendors offering produce, prepared foods, and farm-related products grown or made in Virginia. The market has been serving between 1,000 and 1,500 people on any given Market Day since 2002.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon on Duke of Gloucester Street between Henry and Nassau streets. For more information, visit the City of Williamsburg website.
