NEWPORT NEWS — This winter, five more Lionsbridge alumni took the next step, signing professional contracts in USL League One.
Taig Healy, Claudel N’goubou, and Donovan Williams have each earned their first professional deals after making meaningful contributions in Newport News during the past two seasons, the club said.
Healy joined Lionsbridge for the stretch run of the 2025 season and made an immediate impact as the club pushed to the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite arriving in July, Healy quickly established himself as a difference-maker in the attacking third, the club noted, starting six matches, including all three playoff games. He finished his Lionsbridge run with three goals and three assists. Healy now moves on to Fort Wayne Football Club in USL League One.
Claudel N’goubou and Donovan Williams both played key roles during Lionsbridge’s 2024 Chesapeake Division Championship season. N’goubou’s physical presence and attacking energy made him a difficult matchup throughout the campaign, the club said, while Williams brought consistency and competitiveness that helped anchor a championship-winning group. N’goubou has signed with Forward Madison FC, while Williams heads to One Knoxville SC to begin their professional careers in USL League One.

Denis Krioutchenkov has signed a professional contract with One Knoxville SC of USL League One, becoming the 27th player in Lionsbridge FC history to reach the professional ranks and the sixth this offseason. A forward, Krioutchenkov ranks among the most accomplished players in club history following a highly productive two-season run with Lionsbridge.
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native appeared in 33 matches (the 12th most all-time), recorded 16 goals (4th in club history), 13 of which came against league opponents (tied for second) and added seven assists (fifth most in Lionsbridge history).
A key contributor on the 2024 Chesapeake Division championship team and Eastern Conference finalists, as well as the 2025 Eastern Conference finalists, he scored in his final Lionsbridge appearance on July 3 against Annapolis Blues. Krioutchenkov played his college soccer at Charlotte and Davidson in North Carolina.

A defender, Dominguez quickly established himself as a physical and athletic presence during his season with the club, it said.
Dominguez appeared in 20 matches during the 2025 campaign, scoring one goal and adding one assist while helping anchor the Lionsbridge defensive unit. Known for his height, speed, and athleticism, he consistently provided strength in aerial battles, recovery defending, and one-on-one matchups throughout the season, according to the club.
A native of Homestead, Florida, who played collegiately at Georgia Southwestern, Dominguez played a key role in Lionsbridge’s 2025 campaign, contributing to one of the most competitive squads in club history while continuing the club’s growing tradition of developing players capable of reaching the professional level, it said
