NEWPORT NEWS — Police here say a 31-year-old man is responsible for robbing a pizza business on Tuesday.

That man, Eric Fenton, was arrested and charged Thursday with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police were called out at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday to Domino’s Pizza in the 12800 block of Jefferson Avenue on a report of a robbery.

Authorities said a man wearing a dark cap, hoodie, and dark pants entered the business, said he had “a weapon and handed over a note demanding money.”

“An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the male fled the business on foot,” police wrote in a news release.

The suspect was later identified as Fenton, police said.
