YORK COUNTY — York County is currently accepting participants for its third annual York County Restaurant Week, taking place Feb. 20 through March 1, and local dining establishments are invited to take part in this celebration of the county’s culinary scene.

Restaurant Week offers participating businesses the opportunity to receive free marketing and promotion through York County Economic & Tourism Development, attract new customers, boost sales, and showcase signature dishes and unique offerings all while supporting and celebrating local dining, the county said.

Participating restaurants are encouraged to create a special three-course lunch or dinner menu, or offer a unique discount, available exclusively during York County Restaurant Week. Interested establishments must submit their menu or offer details through the online registration form by Feb. 6.

More than 20 restaurants participated in Restaurant Week last year, reporting strong customer turnout, increased sales, and positive exposure during what is traditionally a slower season for dining, the county said.

“We saw a significant increase in online orders and appreciated being a part of Restaurant Week, especially during the slower months,” said Anna’s Brick Oven.

For diners, York County Restaurant Week provides an opportunity to explore new flavors, rediscover favorite restaurants, and support locally owned dining establishments. The county said a complete list of participating restaurants will be available online beginning Feb. 9 at visityorktown.org/restaurantweek.

Restaurants interested in participating or seeking additional information may contact York County Economic & Tourism Development at tourism@yorkcounty.gov or 757-890-5900.
