NORFOLK — This upcoming all-female art show will be an ‘3lectrical’ movement for women to come together to discuss female empowerment and mental health on both a local and global scale.
3lectric Lady, an exhibition created by EVOKENATIONS and sponsored by the Old Dominion University Women’s Center, will be hosting its first free exhibition from June 23 to July 20 in the Learning Commons at Perry Library and in the Barry Arts building at ODU.
According to the event page, and EVOKENATIONS creative director, owner, and organizer, Tamika Bright, the exhibition is a crucial way for women to come together in the Hampton Roads area to develop a community of strong supportive women and to openly discuss different ways in which women can create a positive impact on the community.
