VIRGINIA BEACH — Parts of the city experienced heavy rainfall Thursday afternoon, and meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Wakefield are predicting more of the same Thursday night.
A flood advisory expired at 6:15 p.m.
After the heavy downpour Thursday afternoon, some areas of flooding were reported in the city.
Showers are likely Friday and through the weekend, with daytime highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s and lows in the upper 60s.
