Kendrick Lamar, SZA to bring ‘Championship Tour’ to Hampton Roads in May

Kendrick Lamar, SZA and other artists from the Top Dawg Entertainment record label will perform at Virginia Beach’s Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater on May 27, according to Live Nation.

Tickets for “The Championship Tour” will cost between $25 and $117. They go on sale on Friday, Jan. 26 at noon at ticketmaster.com.

Lamar and SZA dominated nominations for the 2018 Grammy Awards. Lamar received seven nominations, including Record of the Year for his song “Humble” and Album of the Year for “Damn.”

SZA was nominated for five awards — the most for any female artist — including Best New Artist.

Other supporting acts include ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker.
