VIRGINIA BEACH — Police have identified a man who died after he hit a pole while driving on Virginia Beach Boulevard last week.
Twenty-one-year-old Colin Richard Thiesfeld died in the Nov. 8 crash in the 3600 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard, according to the city’s police department.
Police believe the Virginia Beach man was driving east around 3:08 a.m. when his car ran off the road and hit a pole. He had already died when emergency medical workers arrived at the scene, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Although the crash is under investigation, police believe speed may have been a factor in it.
