VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to rob a Virginia Beach bank on Wednesday morning.
Police say that around 9:24 a.m. a man wearing a green sweatshirt and ripped black jeans came into BB&T Bank, located at 536 Newtown Road, and handed a teller a note demanding money.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, the man left the bank without money and didn’t display any weapons.
He’s described as standing 5-feet-10-inches with a medium build. Anyone with information on this crime should call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
