NORFOLK — Construction for the city’s I-64-Northampton Interchange project is expected to close on and off ramps overnight.
From 9 p.m. Sunday evening until 5 a.m Monday morning, exit 282 heading east onto Northampton Boulevard will be closed, according to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation. Depending on the weather conditions, back-up nights will include Monday and Tuesday.
On Thursday, Aug. 24, the west entrance ramp from Northampton onto I-64 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
According to VDOT, alternating lane closures are expected to happen on Northampton Boulevard between the entrance and exit ramps.
