Police are looking for a man after three burglaries took place in James City and York counties within minutes of each other.
James City County Police responded to a burglar alarm around 2:35 a.m. Saturday at the Citgo Station at 5443 Richmond Road, according to a police news release.
Officers arrived to find a glass window in the store broken and an undisclosed amount of cash and tobacco products missing, the release said.
A “few minutes later,” a burglar alarm was set off at the Olde Towne Shell gas station at 5537 Richmond Road. Officers found a side window in the Shell station was broken, and tobacco products had been stolen, police said.
Around the same time of the incidents in James City County, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office responded to a “similar incident” on Mooretown Road.
Police believe the three incidents may be connected, and have released photos of a man they believe may be involved.
