VIRGINIA BEACH — Blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa will make his way to Virginia Beach this summer supporting his 2016 album “Blues of Desperation.”
The twice Grammy-nominated artist will perform at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater Saturday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale March 10 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the amphitheater box office, livenation.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. They can also be purchased on Joe Bonamassa’s website.
Brass players, a drummer, an organist and keyboardist, a bassist and background singers featured on Joe Bonamassa’s Grammy-nominated 2016 album “Live at the Greek Theater” will perform with him on his tour this summer, according to a press release.
Joe Bonamassa has 16 number one Billboard blues albums and opened for genre icon B.B. King as a child, according to his website.
