Log truck jack-knifes, closes Jolly Pond Road

A jack-knifed log truck has caused Jolly Pond Road to close in both directions, according to James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.

The call reporting the accident in the 2200 block of Jolly Pond Road came in around 4:10 p.m. Monday, Williams said.

It is unclear what caused the accident at this time, Williams said, but the log truck is the only vehicle involved.

At about 4:25 p.m., Williams said there was a limited amount of information and there was no estimate for when the road would reopen.

There are no reported injuries from the accident, she said.
