Crews from the Virginia Department of Transportation will be at work during an overnight closure of the northbound right lane on the James River Bridge from 2 to 10 a.m. Sunday.
The work will also require test lifts of the bridge, which will result in intermittent traffic stops of up to 30 minutes each throughout the night in both the south- and northbound directions. The work is routine maintenance.
