James City County Police are looking to the public for help in identifying a man who stole a blue 2007 Chevrolet 1500 Crew Cab pickup from a residence in James City County on Dec. 18.
The vehicle has since been recovered after the suspect, a black male, left it at a 7-Eleven in Hampton. He stopped at the 7-Eleven on Dec. 19 at 6:30 a.m. and went inside to pay for gasoline. When the pump did not work, the suspect fled the area and left the vehicle behind, according to a press release from James City County.
