WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center announced its 23rd Annual High School Student Show kicks off Jan. 14 and will run through Feb. 20.

According to WCAC, the show features the work of students from the following schools: Bruton, Jamestown, Lafayette, and Warhill High Schools; Walsingham Academy; and Williamsburg Christian Academy.

“The high school show is always an exciting event for us here at the Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center,” said Karen Schwartz, program chair. “There are so many talented students in this area and we are happy to display their unique and creative artwork as part of our community outreach. It’s always a popular show for our visitors as well.”

The exhibit is being held in WCAC’s main and middle galleries.

WCAC said the judge for the show is local artist and teacher Ann Armstrong, who will present the prizes at an awards reception for the students and their guests on Jan. 15.

WCAC noted it is also featuring new artwork by its 2025 Members’ Show winners in the Fireside Gallery, as well as new 3-D works in the Artisan Corner. WCAC, located at 110 Westover Ave., is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
