JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unknown male who is suspected of passing a counterfeit bill.
On Monday, Nov. 29 at approximately 11:30 p.m., an unknown male used a counterfeit $50 bill to purchase a gift card from the 7-Eleven store, located at 4840 Longhill Road in Williamsburg.
The suspect is described by JCCPD as approximately six feet tall, weighing around 200 lbs., and with a short, scruffy beard. He was wearing a red sweat suit with a hood and a heavy winter coat. He was driving a dark colored sedan when he left the 7-Eleven location.
