Williamsburg man arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

WILLIAMSBURG – Robert Vincent Kruszweski,76, of Williamsburg, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material on Wednesday. 

In July, the Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children federal task force regarding possible child sexual abuse material being received at a York County residence. The Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division began an investigation. 

On Aug. 20, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 100 block of Londonderry Lane. 

After evidence collection and analysis, Kruszweski was arrested and charged on Aug. 26. 

He is currently incarcerated in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
