HAMPTON ROADS — VDOT’s list of full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and single-lane closures at the bridge-tunnels the week of Jan. 28 to Feb. 3.

Bridges and Tunnels

Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:  

• Mobile, single-lane closure eastbound Jan. 31 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, I-664: 

• Alternating, single-lane closures southbound Jan. 28 to Feb. 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Single-lane closure southbound Jan. 29 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures northbound Jan. 30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

James River Bridge, Route 17: 

• Single-lane closures in both directions:
  • Jan. 28-31 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Jan. 29 to Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Feb. 1 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
• Brief, intermittent stoppages in both directions:
  • Jan. 28 to Feb. 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Jan. 29 to Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hampton: 

• Brief, intermittent stoppages on I-64 east between the Hampton River Bridge and Mallory Street (exit 268) Jan. 29-30 from 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
• Brief, intermittent stoppages on I-64 west between the Hampton River Bridge and LaSalle Avenue (exit 265):
  • Jan. 31 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Feb. 1 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
• Long-term, continuous single-lane closure on I-64 in both directions, reducing travel lanes from three to two lanes between Settlers Landing Road/Woodland Road (exit 267) and LaSalle Avenue (exit 265A), with I-64 west traffic shifted to the I-64 east lanes. View the full traffic alert.

Norfolk:

• Full closure of the on-ramp from Granby Street to I-64 east Jan. 28 to Feb. 2 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the off-ramp from I-64 east to I-564 west/Granby Street (exit 276A) Jan. 28 to Feb. 2 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the on-ramp from Tidewater Drive south to I-64 east Jan. 28 to Feb. 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the off-ramp from I-64 east to Tidewater Drive north (exit 277B) Jan. 28 to Feb. 2 from as early as 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure of the on-ramp from Tidewater Drive north to I-64 east Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Brief, intermittent stoppage of the on-ramp from Little Creek Road to I-64 east Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• Full closure of the ramp from I-564 east to I-64 east Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Norfolk, Reversible Roadway:

• Full closure in both directions:
  • Jan. 28 to Feb. 1 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
