WILLIAMSBURG — Walking into Zoom Room, it is evident that fun is meant to be had here, as brightly colored dog supplies, toys and treats lead you to a huge training space filled with ramps, hula hoops and agility equipment.

Zoom Room is about owners and dogs working together.

“Our company motto is we don’t train dogs we train the people who love them. We truly want to bridge the gap of communication between you and your dog. It is a bonding experience to grow that relationship and learn together,” owner Tamara Lambke said.

The new dog training facility is located in New Town and will host a grand opening party on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 4-6 p.m. The community is invited to bring their dogs and come celebrate. The festivities during the party are free for everyone to enjoy, but attendees should RSVP to receive a special gift bag with treats. Zoom Room will donate $10 to Ring Dog Rescue for everyone who RSVPs and attends.

During the party, attendees will be able to check out the indoor dog training facility and meet the staff. There will be a caricature artist on hand, a bobbing for hot dog challenge and the opportunity to decorate and take home Zoom Room’s freshly baked doggy donuts.

“The what-ifs have turned into now we have!” Lambke said about the opening.
