WILLIAMSBURG — BurgerFi, a restaurant chain which opened its Williamsburg location this past July, will hold its grand opening this weekend.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, the restaurant, located at 6610 Mooretown Rd., Ste. F-G, will have special grand opening events such as music from a local D.J., a free cheeseburger from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the download of the BurgerFi app, and a chance to win free BurgerFi for a year.

BurgerFi opened its restaurant with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 6 after a small delay in which Julio Ramirez, CEO of BurgerFi International, related to challenges faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The South Florida-based chain prides itself on serving 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers that have not been exposed to steroids, growth hormones, chemicals, additives, nor antibiotics. Patrons can also purchase the company’s award-winning vegetarian VegeFi Burger. BurgerFi has been recognized as the first national restaurant chain to introduce plant-based Beyond Meat burgers on its menu. Non-burger eaters can also partake with menu items such as hot dogs, antibiotic and cage-free chicken offerings, fresh-cut fries, frozen custard desserts, as well as beer and wine options.
