Police are investigating after a Williamsburg house was hit by bullets Friday night during a small party.

Williamsburg Police responded to several reports of shots fired at a house in the 500 block of Capitol Landing Road around 11:20 p.m. Friday, police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley said.

There was a “small party” at the house when the shots rang out, Riley said, although it is not clear how many people were inside, he said.

When police arrived, they found evidence that several rounds had struck the residence, Riley said.

There were no injuries resulting from the gunfire.

Residents were not able to give a description of any suspects or vehicles, Riley said.
