VIRGINIA BEACH — Mayor Will Sessoms is set to deliver a speech this month highlighting local business development initiatives, strategic municipal updates, address challenges, opportunities and more as part of the Hampton Roads Chamber’s State of the City series.
Sessoms will address the city Wednesday, March 15 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The event is open to the public, but it will cost money to attend.
“When I think back to my first year as mayor, I can see just how far we have come,” Sessoms said in a statement. “Looking forward, I see so much opportunity still ahead.”
Non-HRC members tickets are $80 and members will pay $60. They can be purchased by registering for the event on HRC’s website.
The speech will stream live, and be available to watch afterwards, on Virginia Beach Television’s website, according to a Hampton Roads Chamber spokesperson.
“Exciting times are upon us, and we are looking at the potential for some incredible transformative projects,” Sessoms said in a statement.
