DANBURY, Conn. — After an outstanding performance in the Cal virtual meet on Sunday, William & Mary standout men’s gymnast Aidan Cuy was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Co-Gymnast of the Week.
He share’s this week’s honor with Springfield’s Sam Kaplan.
En route to helping W&M post its second-best team total this year, Cuy competed as an all-arounder for the first time this season tied for third on parallel bars with a season-high 13.15.
The Warwick, R.I., native also recorded W&M’s top score in two other events, as he registered season bests on floor (12.65) and pommel horse (12.45).
W&M will return to action when it competes in a tri-meet at Illinois (with Simpson) on March 1.
