RICHMOND — The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the postponement of five upcoming women’s basketball games and the rescheduling of two men’s and two women’s basketball contests.
William & Mary’s women’s basketball game at Elon, scheduled for January 2, has been postponed until January 4 at 4 p.m. due to COVID-19 protocols within the Elon program.
Delaware’s women’s basketball games against James Madison on December 31 and Towson on January 2 have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Delaware and JMU programs. The Blue Hens’ game with JMU has been rescheduled for January 18 at 6 p.m., while a date for the contest against Towson will be determined at a later time.
Northeastern’s women’s basketball games against Charleston on December 31 and UNCW on January 2 have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Northeastern program. The game between Northeastern and Charleston has been rescheduled for January 26 at 7 p.m. at Northeastern’s Cabot Center. The rescheduling of the Northeastern game vs. UNCW will be determined at a later time.
The women’s basketball game between Drexel and JMU, which was previously scheduled for January 2, will now be played on February 16 at 5 p.m. at Drexel’s Daskalakis Athletic Center.
The men’s basketball game between Drexel and Charleston, which was previously scheduled for December 29, will now be played on February 14 at 7 p.m. at Charleston’s TD Arena. The men’s basketball game between Drexel and UNCW, which was previously scheduled for December 31, will now be played on January 31 at 7 p.m. at UNCW’s Trask Coliseum.
