Jamestown’s offense exploded during a 15-0 win at home against Bruton on Tuesday.
The Eagles opened the scoring with back-to-back bases-loaded walks in the bottom of the second inning. Two at-bats later, Michael Schmidt delivered a two-run single that put the Eagles up 4-0.
Later in the inning, Kent Klyman smacked a two-run single into right field that gave Jamestown a 6-0 lead.
After plating two runs early in the bottom of the third inning, Evan Lowery hit a two-run home run to put the Eagles up 10-0.
Garrick Colorado continued the momentum in the bottom of the fourth inning with a two-run single. Two at-bats later, Lowery delivered an RBI double. Schmidt closed the scoring with a two-run single that gave the Eagles a 15-run lead.
Jamestown (14-1) will host Smithfield on Friday, while Bruton (3-10) will host Tabb on Wednesday.

York Pulls Away With Strong Fifth Inning
York scored nine runs in the top of the fifth inning en route to a 13-1 road win against Tabb on Tuesday.
Holding a 4-1 lead heading into the top of the fifth inning, York’s Justin Parrish started the breakout inning with an RBI single into left field.
Dylan Dye kept the roll going with an RBI single that put the Falcons up 6-1. On the next at-bat, Mark Evans delivered a two-run double into center field.
After Dye scored on a wild pitch, York scored three consecutive runs on a walk and two bases-loaded hit-by-pitches.
The final run of the game was scored when Jonathan Moore reached base on a fielder’s choice that scored Gabe Simmons.
York (10-5) will host Grafton on Friday, while Tabb (6-6) will visit Bruton on Wednesday.

Warhill Offense Shines Against Grafton
Three Warhill players drove in multiple runs as the Lions defeated Grafton 9-3 on the road Tuesday.
Cam Fowler, Sam Rochard and Luke Gruendl each drove in two runs for the Lions during the victory. Adam Ball, Trey Drummond and Aharon Davidson all chipped in an RBI.
Grafton jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning before Warhill responded with nine consecutive runs over a three-inning span.
The Clippers tacked on one run in the bottom of the sixth inning, but were unable to keep pace with the Lions.
Warhill (3-13) will travel to play Poquoson on Wednesday. Grafton (3-10) will host Denbigh on Wednesday.

Walsingham Tops HRA in TCIS Quarterfinals
Walsingham Academy defeated Hampton Roads Academy 3-2 at home in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools quarterfinal round on Tuesday.
HRA jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning when Chase Bartol smacked an RBI single to left field.
Walsingham responded in the bottom of the fourth inning with an RBI sacrifice fly by James West that scored Zach Stanko.
JJ Burns of Walsingham came up with the biggest hit of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning, belting a two-run home run over the left-field fence to put the Trojans up 3-1.
HRA tried to battle back in the top of the seventh inning with an RBI double by Mathew Hardy, but the Navigators were unable to completely close the gap.
Walsingham (14-7) will face a quick turnaround with a home game against Norfolk Academy on Wednesday in the semifinal round of the TCIS tournament.
HRA ends its season with a disappointing 2-17 record.
