Lafayette, which was coming off a disappointing straight-set loss to New Kent on Tuesday, showed more fight against the Lions.
Jewel Walters played a standout defensive match, recording 32 digs for Warhill. Walters’ defense was key for the Lions hanging on for a victory during three close sets.
