Bruton’s golf team earned a runner-up finish during Tuesday’s Conference 33 tournament at Kiskiack Golf Club.
With their finish, the Panthers also qualified for the 2A East tournament Monday at Kiskiack Golf Club.
Bruton finished with a team score of 358, which was 18 strokes behind first-place finisher Maggie Walker.
The Panthers were led by Caleb Filicko, who carded an 87, and Sam Carr, who posted an 89. Filicko’s 87 beat his previous season-best score of a 97 at Williamsburg National Golf Club.
Dylan Jenkins and Zack Calloway each shot 91 to round out the Bruton scorers.
