
Four Bay Rivers District standouts have been named to the Virginia High School Coaches Association’s 3A boys soccer all-state first team released this week.
Lafayette had three players receive top honors — sophomores Reeves Trott and Jason Eckenrode, and senior defender Andrew Vaccaro — along with York sophomore forward Bailey McClure.
Lafayette and York, which both came one win away from reaching the inaugural 3A state tournament, also had one player each voted to the all-state second team. Senior goalkeeper Volodomyr Humenyuk was selected for the Rams while senior defender Hunter Strack was selected for the Falcons.

Voting for the Virginia High School League all-state team will take place next week.
