Ten players from the Bay Rivers District have earned first-team honors on the all-Region I field hockey team released Tuesday.
Tabb midfielder Macy Peebles and coach Wendy Wilson reaped highest honors being named co region Player and Coach of the Year. Both also received top honors on the Bay Rivers all-district team which was announced last week.
The four-time defending state champion Tigers will play Chancellor on Friday in the Group AA semifinals at the National Training Center in Virginia Beach.
