VIRGINIA BEACH — The north end of the city is a quiet haven filled with spacious homes and beautiful wildlife.

Vibrant colors and generous shade trees populate each street. At 209A 61st St. sits a 3-bedroom, 4-bath home that fulfills every expectation of a beach house. This family home offers classic details and vacation amenities.

The house sits at the end of an elegant brick-lined driveway, and makes a stunning first impression with beachy shingle siding and bright white trim.

A modern glass wine cellar is the very first feature encountered upon entry, and it leads the way into a comfortable living space, complete with an operational bar.

The formal dining and living rooms feature Brazilian cherry floors and are lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. A fireplace and extensive decorative wooden trim lend to the elegance of the space.

The living room opens onto a cozy sunroom that is flooded with light year round.

The updated kitchen boasts marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. A wooden bar and breakfast nook make the kitchen an ideal space for entertaining.

The second level of the house is accessible via two different stairways or by elevator.

In the master bedroom, a vaulted ceiling and light hardwood floors create a peaceful atmosphere.

Adjacent to the master bedroom is a private rooftop deck that overlooks treetops and neighboring homes.

The master bath is tiled with white marble and has a walk-in shower, jetted spa tub, and his and her sinks.

The remaining rooms on the upper level include two other bedrooms and one more bath. Each space lets in lots of natural light and is trimmed in crisp crown molding.

An in-ground pool and deck area behind the house complete this ideal beach home. It is walking distance from the water and features all the essentials for coastal living.

The home was recently on the market but sold only two days after listing.
