WILLIAMSBURG — The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its signature Gala on Saturday, March 25 at the William & Mary Alumni House.
The theme, “An Evening in Old Hollywood,” is a black-tie-optional affair that will feature a walk down the red carpet, a welcome reception with cocktails and live music, dinner, and dancing.
The evening will begin with a welcome reception featuring live piano and photo ops, and the evening will include a two-course plated dinner, three champagne toasts, and a dessert bar with music from 504 Supreme.
The Gala will also feature a silent auction to benefit the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which supports Pathways2Careers and educational programming.
The Pathways2Careers program connects local high school and high-school-level homeschool students with businesses in Greater Williamsburg. Students tour local businesses, highlighting lucrative career paths and establishing lifelong industry connections.
Students also learn interview tips from program advisors and students in grades 11 and 12 have the opportunity to interview to receive college or trade school scholarships. There is no cost to participate in the program and dinner is provided for the students.
The Gala will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. March 25. Information about tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available on the “An Evening in Old Hollywood” event page.
