WILLIAMSBURG — The Rotary Foundation is pulling out all of the stops for its Million Dollar Dinner, set for March 31 at Two Rivers Country Club.

To go along with the $1 million charity fundraising goal, the event’s keynote speaker will be Jennifer E. Jones, Rotary International’s (RI) first female president elected in the organization’s 115-year history.

Jones, who has been a Rotarian in Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada since 1997, is the founder and president of Media Street Productions, Inc., a video production company.

Prior to her current role, Jones has served as the RI vice president, director, training leader and committee chair.

Founded in Evanston Ill. in 1905, Rotary International is a humanitarian service organization consisting of business and professional leaders from around the world. They come together with the purpose of providing community service, promoting integrity and advancing peace and goodwill and understanding on a global scale.

The Million Dollar Dinner is a black tie affair with minimum contributions of $10,000 from each donor. Previous dinners have raised up to $4.2 million.
