WILLIAMSBURG — The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg announced that Virginia Beach-based Irish band, the Fighting Jamesons, will headline this year’s annual Shamrock the Burg!
The Fighting Jamesons are a nationally touring band that formed in 2010. Since then they have released two full length albums and opened for band such as Dropkick Murphys, the Saw Doctors and the Young Dubliners.
The Shamrock the Burg will also feature a full Irish corned beef and cabbage dinner catered by Culture Café as well as desserts from Aroma’s World and a whiskey tasting put on by 8 Shires Distillery.
The event is scheduled for March 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg Community Building, 401 N Boundary St.
