GLOUCESTER — After a two year hiatus, Gloucester County is excitedly gearing up for the 2022 Daffodil Festival, set for April 2-3.
Starting on February 1, festival organizers will be accepting applications for the Daffodil Festival Scholarship and the Daffodil Festival Queen, as well as float entries for the parade.
The applications can be found on the festival website and will be accepted until Feb. 28.
“The history of the daffodil in Gloucester County, Virginia is almost as old as the county itself,” said Daffodil Festival Organizer Debbie Wesolowski. “That’s why we are excited to celebrate the festival’s rich history this year. And you can be a part of that by filling out your applications to participate!”
Information and applications for food and craft vendors can be found here. Those applications are due on Feb. 11. Any application received after that date will be charged an extra $25 late fee and cannot be guaranteed a spot at the festival.
