Tina Michelle Vincent, the daughter of Mary D. Whitaker and the late Chester James Brooks, was born on March 25, 1977. Her earthly journey was completed on September 1, 2026.
Tina graduated from Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Virginia. A dedicated and hardworking individual, she held positions with A Good Place to Eat, Burger King as a manager, office manager at Virginia Grounds, and secretary at Optimal Financial Group.
On January 22, 2000, Tina married the love of her life, James Gordon Vincent III. The union was blessed with more than twenty-six loving years.
Tina loved helping people. She also loved jellyfish, spending time with family and friends, and playing video games. She was an avid New England Patriots fan. Her love and goodwill will forever remain in our hearts.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, Chester Brooks, and stepmother, Stephanie Brooks.
Survived by her husband James Vincent III; her mother, Mary Whitaker and stepfather, Garry Whitaker; her sisters, Maxine Suarez (Jhonny), Jennifer Kopcik (Kevin), and Sara LaBarge (Cody); sisters-in-law, Beatrice Walker, and Rita McIntyre (George); brothers-in-law, Lewis Vincent (Linda) and Eddie Vincent; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving friends.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the James City County Fire and Rescue, 5077 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185.
