Kurt Klag Seipel, a generous soul, passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 63 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on March 25, 1963, he lived in Virginia Beach his entire life.
Kurt’s journey through life was met with resilience, a great attitude, and a heart that was always open to others. He had a great sense of humor and was often able to laugh in the face of hardships. He was particularly fond of the beach, where he used to surf back in the day, embracing the waves with the same enthusiasm he approached life.
Kurt had a kind heart, showed genuine interest in others, and liked being helpful. He knew many people in his home neighborhood of Aragona and liked to visit and check on his friends.
Kurt worked in a variety of jobs, mostly related to restaurants. He enjoyed preparing food and cooking and took great pride in the work he did.
Kurt is preceded in death by his beloved parents, John and Margaret. He was the youngest of seven and leaves behind a loving family including his siblings Jack, Jr., Bonita (Bill), Jill, Karen, Bradley (Penny), and Tammy; his cousins Harry (Pat) and Robert (Sophie); his nieces Noelle, Leanna, Maggie, and Tracey, and other extended family members and dear friends who will miss him profoundly.
Services to celebrate Kurt’s life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to honor his memory may make donations in his name to Ironwood Pig Sanctuary, P. O. Box 35490, Tucson, AZ 85740. He was well known for his deep love for pigs.
