Timothy Ray Neal, 63, of Moyock, NC, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Timothy was born in Virginia to Richard Elbert Neal Sr and Addie Lou Morris on April 24, 1963. He graduated from Currituck County High School. He worked as a paint supervisor for Norfolk Public Schools for 42 years.
Timothy Ray Neal is preceded in death by his father, Richard Elbert Neal Sr, Mother Addie Lou Morris, Stepmother Sharon Marie Neal, and granddaughter Alyssia LaShay Dance.
Timothy Ray Neal is survived by daughters Kristina Jean Neal (Antione Mercer), Tiffany Michelle Neal (David Spain), Daniell Amber O’Neal (Ricoh O’Neal), sister Rose Anne Neal, sister Julia Marie Paxton, brother Richard Elbert Neal Jr, sister Sharie Lynn Miller, brother James Albert Miller III, sister Angela Crystal Pittman, grandsons Devin Scott Spain, Jamie Franklin Dance, Peyton McCoy Dance, Landon Neal Spain and granddaughters Shayley Aaliyah Smith and Elana Michelle Spain, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home (Chesapeake Chapel 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake VA, 23322) on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Family and friends will be welcomed for fellowship after the funeral service at 122 N Indian Town Rd, Shawboro NC, 27973.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, or in lieu of flowers, food donations are appreciated at 122 N Indian Town Rd for fellowship following the service.
