Mark Allen Bradley, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 62. Born on April 8, 1964, in Norfolk, Virginia, Mark lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to his family and community.

A proud graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School in 1983, Mark spent his career serving the City of Virginia Beach with distinction. He retired as an Assistant Superintendent for the City of Virginia Beach Public Works, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and service.

Mark held a deep affection for the beach life, often found enjoying the soothing sounds of the ocean or spending time indulging in his admiration for the music of Jimmy Buffet. His love for adventure took him on many memorable trips to Key West, a place he adored. He also enjoyed his volunteer work with YSC – Youth Service Club and Virginia Beach Fallen Heroes.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Regina (Wiley) Bradley. Mark leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his devoted wife, Marsha J. Henderson Bradley; his son, Andrew Bradley; and his daughter, Jennifer Hanlon, along with her husband William. Mark was the proud grandfather to two precious grandsons, Liam and Hunter, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Shay Henderson, and his sister, Deborah Bradley, alongside a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Saturday, June 13th st 2:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Maestas Chapel, located at 1801 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.

Though he has left this world, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who knew and loved him.
