On May 25th, 2026, Lindsay M. Ahaus left this world just one day shy of her 43rd birthday peacefully at home while surrounded by family. Born on May 26, 1983, in Goldsboro, NC, Lindsay lived a life full of love, dedication, and inspiration.
Lindsay’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and children. She was a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, followed by a master’s degree from Georgia State University. Her academic pursuits shaped her into a nurturing and impactful educator, influencing countless young minds throughout her career as a teacher and coach.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lindsay was a devoted wife and mother, cherishing every moment spent with her beloved family. She celebrated 12 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Raymond Ahaus. Together, they raised four beautiful children: Aubrey (11), Gunnar (9), January (8), and Malin (6), who were the light of her life.
Lindsay found joy in the simple pleasures of life working out, running, laughing with friends, and creating warm memories with her loved ones. Family meant everything to her, and she was the cornerstone of their shared adventures and cherished traditions. Her parents, Brian and Cheryl Doyle, and siblings, Kelly Francis (Greg) and Jesse Doyle (Shannon), were constants in her life, showering her with love and support.
Her nieces Makayla, Caroline, Izzy, nephew Eli, and a host of dear friends and extended family members will forever remember Lindsay’s warmth, empathy, and vibrant spirit.
