Kim Marie Canny, 61, of Lanexa, VA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 8th, 2026 at her home.
Kim cherished time spent with her grandchildren, fishing, and movie nights. She was an avid collector of DVDs, board games and frog knick knacks. She also loved her job as a Kids Entertainment Ambassador at Great Wolf Lodge, especially leading the morning “Yoga Tails” class.
Kim was preceded in death by Robert Barnhardt (son), Deborah Faulkner (sister), and Mason and Ethel “Mom” Hartman (grandparents).
She is survived by Gary and Judy Caricofe (parents), Sherrie Lynn Barnhardt (daughter), Judith Rachel Saunders (daughter), Krysta Barnhardt (daughter), Gary “Pedro” and Mischelle Caricofe (brother and sister-in-law), Christine Bennet (sister) and her grandchildren, Jayden Lee Jarvis (grandson) and Ava Grace Bell (granddaughter).
All services will be private.
