Carol T. Pritchett, 83, passed away on February 17, 2026.
Born in New York, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Charlotte (Edwards) Gibson and George Henry Gibson. She was a woman of unwavering strength, conviction, and determination. She was truly a force—direct, outspoken, stern, and demanding—yet everything she did was grounded in her deep love for her family and her steadfast commitment to her morals and values.
Carol was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Pritchett Jr., Joaquim Santos, and Norman Marshall; her beloved baby Gerard Santos; and her siblings, Eleanor DeCasseres, Charles Gibson, Ann Morris, and Marlene Gibson.
She is survived by her loving children, Gregory Marshall (Lisa) and Jacqueline Santos. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Zachary Marshall (Mahera), Quincy Marshall, and Matthew Marshall. Carol is further survived by her dear cousins, many nieces and nephews along with extended family members and treasured friends.
A retired proud business owner, Carol’s strong work ethic reflected her relentless and determined spirit. An avid shopper with a flair for style, she also found joy in making jewelry and interior decorating, always bringing beauty and personality into every space she touched.
Above all, Carol loved her family fiercely. Her strength, resilience, bold presence, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who loved her.
The funeral mass took place on February 25, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg.
