Jeannie Marie Boyer, a devoted mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on January 18, 1950, in Japan, she was lovingly adopted alongside her brother by her parents, Emma and Robert Bayer.
Jeannie was a dedicated homemaker who created a nurturing and loving home for her family for many years. In addition to her role as a homemaker, she worked at K-Mart for about fifteen years, where she was known for her warm smile and kind demeanor. Jeannie attended beauty school and often delighted in doing her children’s hair, a testament to her caring nature and attention to detail.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Erwin D. Boyer, who passed in January 2025; her sons, Edward, who left this world at the tender age of 22, and Jason, who passed away at just six weeks old; and her parents, Emma and Robert Bayer.
Jeannie leaves behind her sons, Tracey and Anthony Boyer, and her adored grandchildren, who will continue to honor her memory and cherish her love.

Jeannie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
