Patricia E. “Liz” Wilburn passed away at her residence in Chesapeake, Virginia, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born on November 4, 1956, in New Jersey.
Patricia honorably served in the United States Navy for four years as an operations specialist in air traffic control. She later worked as a computer programming analyst in partnership with her husband, providing her professional expertise to several companies.
In her personal life, she enjoyed diamond painting and valued time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Roman and Mary Catherine Mulrennan, and her daughter, Deanna Lynn Wilburn, who passed away in August 2015. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John R. Wilburn, and her son, Nathan Wilburn, both of Chesapeake.
