Thomas G. Padgett Sr., a lifelong enthusiast of antiques and the automotive world, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia. He was 71 years old.

Born on December 24, 1953, in New York. Throughout his life, he was known for his skillful work in the auto body industry, where he dedicated many years to perfecting his craft and helping others maintain their cherished vehicles.

Beyond his professional life, Thomas had a passion for collecting and appreciating the timeless beauty of antiques, watches, and clocks. He loved spending his weekends fishing and exploring flea markets in search of unique treasures. His fascination with all things automotive was evident in his extensive knowledge and love for cars.

Thomas’s memory will be cherished by his devoted wife, Rose Padgett, who was his steadfast companion throughout his life’s journey. He is also survived by his son, Tommy Padgett Jr., and daughter-in-law, Sarah Padgett; his daughter, Angela Ronk, and son-in-law, James Ronk. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Cameron Persinger, Shawn Persinger, Victoria Lukefahr, Dylan Johnson, Isabella Ronk, and Elizabeth Kruger. Additionally, he leaves behind a great-grandchild, Victor Evan Persinger, who brought him great joy.

Thomas will be remembered fondly by his family for his gentle spirit, his love of life’s simple pleasures, and his unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
