Sharon Lee Dwyer Baker passed away on August 24, 2025.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Shirley Miller Dwyer Yamnicky and Webster Thomas Dwyer; her stepfather, Peter Paul Yamnicky; and her cherished pets who are waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge, including the light of her life, Putamus Putty.
Sharon is survived by her devoted cats, Captain Jack and Licorice, and by her loving partner, Michael Revell.
She retired from the City of Virginia Beach after a career in Public Utilities Customer Service and as a Precinct Desk Officer with the Virginia Beach Police Department. Later, she worked at QVC, where she eventually retired.
A proud graduate of First Colonial High School with honors, Sharon was active in the Red Hat Society, serving as the Queen of the Merry Marigolds. She also enjoyed participating in sweepstakes clubs and found great joy in entering—and often winning—sweepstakes.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her family of friends and her beloved cats.
