Robert Wesley Flanagan, 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 27,2025 in Virginia Beach surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born in Norfolk, Virginia to William M. Flanagan, Sr., and Alice W. Flanagan (nee Winfrey). Bob was married to his high school sweetheart Pam for 59 years. He was a graduate of Granby High School.
Bob was the owner of the Pizza Chef Inn on Independence Blvd in Virginia Beach from 1974-1991. Prior to his retirement in 2009, he worked in the trucking industry. A member of the “Ole Gang” since high school which included fishing trips with “tales”, card games, lots of laughs and lifelong friendships.
Bob was predeceased by his son Ryan and by his brother, W.M. Flanagan, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Pam, and son Wesley (Nancy), brother Gary (Kathy), sister-in-law Marie, daughter-in-law Melissa grandchildren, Jonathan, Grace, Riley, Sophia and a host of other family members.
