Ronald Leo Maurice Jr., 77, residing in Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1948, in Central Falls, RI, to the late Alice and Ronald Leo Maurice Sr.
Ronald lived a full life marked by hard work, service, and adventure. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later dedicated many years in the Food Service Industry. Prior to retirement he served as the Finance and Insurance Manager in the car industry. Ronald enjoyed traveling to many places and found joy spending time on his boat and the occasional Casino. Above all, he cherished time with his family, who meant the world to him.
Left to treasure his memory are his sons, Ronald Leo Maurice III and John Steven Maurice; his beloved grandchildren, Ronald Leo Maurice IV, Rachel Evelyn Maurice, and Baily Rene Johnson; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved and devoted wife, Nancy Jean Maurice, daughter-in-law Mary Beatrice Maurice, and grandchild Michael Justin Dowlin.
Ronald will be laid to rest, with his wife, at Highland Memorial Cemetery Johnston, RI. Grave Side Service will be held on September 17, 2025 at 11:00am to be followed by celebration of life where all are welcomed.
His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
