On Thursday, August 28th 2025, Kevin W. Parker of Chesapeake, Virgina was called home to Heaven to join the Lord.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, “Papa” led a people-filled life and was a friend to many. His fridge was always stocked with a variety of cold beverages that he freely offered in fellowship to anyone he welcomed into his home.
Kevin loved to travel, to woodwork and build, was very particular about both his lawn and his coffee and had a deep affinity for collecting and cataloging interesting rocks from the world over.
Pre-deceased by his father David and mother Jean, Kevin is survived by his loving wife Pamela Faith, brother Keith, son Aaron Parker, daughter Megan Bussey, their spouses – Katie and Zack, his two stepchildren, Christopher Czerwinski and Cassie Shotzberger and their spouses Courtney and Ben. He had grown close to his brother-in-law Charles Masker and wife Jenn.
Papa is loved and adored by seven grandchildren; Remi, Addie, Wesson, Declan, Holly, Logan and Lillian.
In lieu of a service, the family plans a small celebration of life for a later date.
